Album Delays

So there were plans in the works to record a Fantacide album in a studio with a producer, but due to forces beyond my control they have fallen through for the time being… Looks like I’m back to making music on my own again for a little while.

Some time was wasted, but on the bright side I did also get some helpful advice on my songs and musical direction and I got a lot of prep work done that I needed to get done regardless.  After I finish up a couple more demo’s I’ll be looking for a new producer to help complete my first album.

I’ve recently added a full length demo of the song “So Much Pain” & a new clip of “Virus Faith” to my myspace page.

Keep an eye out for the new Faith Hazard album featuring myself (Chris Vacant / Fantacide), Terry Stillborn (Bondage) and Will Hazard.  It will be released sometime in the next couple of months (release date TBA)

Taking The Fall

A full length demo of the song Taking the Fall has been added to the fantacide myspace page: www.myspace.com/fantacide 

Work on the debut Fantacide album is proceeding steadily forward.  With luck it will be done some time this year!

I’m looking to work with a female vocalist so i can finish up the song I have up on my Fantacide myspace which is currently titled “Untitled Demo” This can either be a one time thing or have the possibillty of working on more songs, and eventually forming a band and performing live. I’ve changed the address of my myspace page to:

as it has just recently become available! and the other band who had it and was doing absolutely nothing with their page seems to have had their profile deleted… so make the appropriate changes to your bookmarks.

I am still alive and in good spirits, and working on music, when I’ll beable to post some new songs i’m not sure, but as always i’m hoping soon…

I may post a little snippet of a new song a little later as a new years gift.  Stay tuned!

Welcome

Thankyou for visiting. This website is dedicated to my music project: Fantacide.  Check out samples of my music located in the box player off to the right.

This project was originally conceptualized back in 2007 as I needed an outlet for songs created during my enrollment in a music production coarse. As for the word itself, it’s an amalgamation of the words fantasy and death, hence Fantacide: the death of your fantasies.   As of now the style of the project is primarily industrial, but that could change, my influences are varied.(from industrial, metal and alternative rock to jazz and classical)  I loathe limitations.  I can say, however, that I enjoy creating music that is progressive and of a dark nature, and hopefully I can open up a few minds along the way….
